The Kingdom of Essex or Kingdom of the East Saxons was one of the seven traditional kingdoms of the so-called Anglo-Saxon Heptarchy (the seven principal kingdoms). Now Essex is already a famous part of England, placed in the East of this country. Essex count 670,674 people. Its capital is Chelmsford with only 110,000 people.
