THE SAVOURIES

Tiptree is the best producer of savouries in Essex; savouries are represented by a large range of sauces to accompany meat, seafood, pasta... or everything you want. Tiptree offer you his products and you decide what you want to do with them. I will present you four of them:

  •  Organic Hot Barbecue Relish, a pot of 210g, ideal with meat. It contains sugar, red and green peppers, honey, wine vinegar, onion, pectin, tomato purée, spices, salt, garlic, chilli, cayenne, mustard powder
  • Hot Mango Chutney, a pot of 210g; very good with goat cheese or with foie gras. It contains mangoes, sugar, vinegar, salt, ginger, chilli, garlic, onion
  • Organic Onion Relish, a pot of 210g, excellent with cheese or chicken. It contains onions, tomatoes, sugar, wine vinegar, water, oranges, graps, pectin, le,on juice, salt, spices
  • Tiptree Barbecue Sauce, a bottle of 310g, as ideal with meat and chips. It contains sugar, red and green peppers, honey, wine vinegar, onion, gelling agent: pectin, tomato puree, spices, salt, garlic, chilli, mustard powder

THE FRUITS

In Suffolk there is a farm, a local producer whose name is High House Fruit Farm which is produces  rhubarb and asparagus in the spring, there are follow by cherries, apricots and plums in the summer, and then there are apples in autumn. They are specialises in apples, they have not just two or three varieties, they have ten varieties. These varieties are Cox, Russet, Discovery, James Grieve, Worcester, Blenheim Orange, Charles Ross, Ribston Pippin and Bramley.

THE SEAFOOD

   In Essex there is an attraction unique, it's the Company Shed. It is define as a restaurant but a strange restaurant, because the only things sell in it are shellfish and fish and you have to bring your bred and drink to accompagny your food. It is very interesting because you have really good seafood; it is cooked well and you have not to pay really expensive drinks.
   You can also take away your food if you want cod, skate, brill and Dover sole as freshly cooked crabs and lobsters are also available to take away.

THE MARMALADES

In Essex marmalades are produced by Tiptree, there are classic marmalades or originals, but one thing is sure it will be a pleasure for anyboddy, them who prefer to stay in classic range as them who want to try new tastes.

THE MUSTARDS

Suffolk produced some varieties of Mustard and each one has a different flavours. I will present you four different mustards :

  • Chili and Garlic Mustard, this mustards enhance by chili and garlic contains water, 30% of mustard seed, white wine vinegar, sugar, salt, chilli, wheat flour and garlic.
  • Cider and Horseradish Mustard, a normal mustard combined with horseradish and cider, it contains water, 23% of mustard seed, 4% of horseradish, cider vinegar, sugar, 11% of cider, salt and wheat flour
  • English Hot Mustard, a traditional English mustard with water, 33% of mustard powder, wheat flour, tumeric, salt and sugar
  • Ale Mustard, a great accompaniment to sausages, made with real ale, contains, water, 30% of mustard seeds, 20% of real ale, white wine vinegar, wheat flour, salt and turmeric

    THE PUDDINGS

    These puddings are produced in Essex by Coles Food. Coles Food has a large range of Christmas Puddings, made with selected ingredients from around the World, including fruits marinated in spirits and beers and blended with finest nuts and spices. Here are four of them :

        • Brandy Christmas Pudding, suitable for vegetarians, this can be preserved for two years after manufacture. This pudding contains 10% of Brandy as Christmas flavour.
